Scott Video was founded in 1984 by Alexandra Scott and John Kelly. We specialize in video productions for the corporate market. Our target customer , usually with budgets below $50,000, most often wants a product or process profile or sales/training tape.

We have also produced a game show for the Spanish market (CH. 22 in L.A.) and have

over the years been involved in a very wide variety of productions. It is this broad range of experience that is our greatest asset, after all we are only 40 miles from Hollywood (the greatest collection of talent on the planet), so the question is never about availability of the latest equipment or skilled personal. It is always about our ability to understand what our clients need and how best to translate this into an

interesting message that accomplishes whatever objectives that were set forth.

So we at Scott Video act as producers for our clients, bringing together the correct

mix of assets needed to get the job done. If this was a major construction job, we would be the general contractor.  Bio’s: Alexandra Scott, received her "Meisterbrief" (Maters in Photography) from Franfurt University in 1976. She worked in Europe in stills and film until coming to the U.S.A. to continue her studies under John Upton. She started Scott Video in 1984 specifically to handle the corporate/industrial marketwhich at the time was undeserved. It turned out to be a good decision.
 
 

John Kelly received his degree in Economics in Australia and began working for the Burroughs Corp. selling mainframe computers. he was transferred to Germany in 1979 and soon after left to take a job with the U.S.Air Force in Frankfurt , where he met ALexandra. His computer background and her artistic flair have proved a great combination in this age of digital imaging.
